TLDR: Ferrari is very picky about who buys and owns its cars and will sue you if you mess with them.
Ferrari is a luxury car brand that has strict rules for its customers, such as limiting the number of cars they can buy, prohibiting them from reselling their cars within a certain period, and suing them for modifying or damaging their cars without permission.
(I guess I should’ve got permission to damage my car first, whoops 🤭)
Ferrari sues its own customers to protect its brand image, reputation, and exclusivity, as well as to prevent unauthorized dealers from profiting from its cars.
Some examples of Ferrari suing its customers include Justin Bieber, who was sued for wrapping his 458 Italia in leopard print, Philipp Plein, who was sued for posting photos of his 812 Superfast with scantily clad models, and David Lee, who was sued for creating a replica of a rare 250 GTO.
(Imagine for a second: being so rich you get sued by a luxury car brand, because you wanted your car to match your Speedos?)
