Transfer money out of the Google Pay app
You can transfer money from Google Pay to a bank account or debit card.
- With your bank account, the transaction can take 1–3 business days. You can track the status of your transaction in the Google Pay app or Google Wallet website.
- Open the Google Pay app .
- On the top right of the home screen, tap your profile icon.
- Below your profile and tap Google Pay balance.
- Tap Transfer out .
- Enter the amount you want to transfer.
- Tap Next.
- Choose a payment method.
- If there’s no payment method,learn how to add a payment method.
- When you transfermoney out of your balance through abank account, you can transfer at no cost and it should be available in your account within 1–5 business days.
- When you transfermoney out of your balance through adebit card, transfers are usually instant. There's a fee of 1.5% (minimum fee of $.31) for thesetransactions.
- Tap Transfer out.

Transfer money out of the Google Wallet website
You can transfer money from Google Pay to a bank account.
- Go to wallet.google.com.
- Click Payment Methods.
- Click Money in Google Pay or Google Pay balance Transfer out.
- Enter the amount that you want to transfer out.
- Select the bank account that you want to transfer to.
- If you don’t already have a bank account saved, follow the steps to add an account.
- Click Transfer out.

- When you transfer money out of your balance through a bank account, it should be available in your account within 1–5 business days.
